My husband Charlie is my motivational force in photography. He’s also the technical guru who does the research and keeps my equipment updated. And even though he doesn’t quite understand my insane passion for shooting birds and tiny critters, he has found me the perfect camera.
I have been thrilled with the results of my Sony HX400V. It’s awesome zoom will capture the pin feathers of a sparrow a hundred feet away. Point-and-shoot capabilities combined with its light-weight makes it ideal for birding. Switching to manual settings, I get my best moon shots with this camera.
Though this is not my best or most expensive camera, it is the one always around my neck.
